  1. Fitness AssessmentBefore beginning our fitness program you will fill out a Health Questionnaire and a Nutrition Questionnaire . Then you will perform multiple fitness tests to acquire the proper information needed to design a workout routine that will best suit your needs.
    • a. Blood Pressure Reading
    • b. Body Fat Testing
    • c. Body Weight Reading
    • d. Cardiovascular Endurance Test
    • e. Upper Body Strength Test
    • f. Lower Body Strength Test
    • g. Lower Back and Hamstring Flexibility Test
    • h. Abdominal Endurance Test

  2. Exercise Programs information taken from the Health Questionnaire and the Fitness Assessment will determine what type of program will be built for you. Our programs range from weight loss, muscle building, sport specific, core training, balance and stability, functional training, rehabilitation, conditioning and more. Sometimes a program developed for a client may contain several aspects of the above programs to incorporate exactly what that individual wants and needs in their workouts. You will then be placed with a personal trainer that best suits your personality and your physical needs. From that point on you will meet with your trainer two to three times a week by appointment only. The facility will be available to you, as a client, for the additional cardiovascular homework that you may be given, depending on your program. Your trainer will keep close tabs on your progression and make changes as necessary.

  3. Cardio Vascular TrainingIf you are looking to lose weight, tone up and have a leaner look, cardio is a big part of getting there. You will not only receive a cardiovascular routine, homework to do on your own, but your workout will also involve short intervals of high intensity cardio training. These intervals will be anywhere from two minutes to four minutes and will be done on a cardio machine or by jumping rope, boxing, hill climbers etc. The point of these intervals in to increase your heart rate during your workouts and bringing back down several times in one hour to burn extra calories and condition your heart and lungs to achieve a higher endurance level making your body’s metabolism respond for a longer period of time even when you are not working out. What type of cardio intervals you will have in your program will be based on your fitness assessment and health questionnaire. Everyone starts out at their own level of fitness and builds up from that point.

  4. Cardio Vascular RoutineWhether or not you receive a cardiovascular routine will be determined by your goals and what you are trying to achieve. A cardiovascular routine will be given to you with your specific heart rate zones. You will know how many times a week you will need to do extra cardio, what intensity the cardio should be done, and where your heart rate should be in order to obtain the best results. Remember, your body will always try to adapt so you must always change your bouts of exercise to stimulate change to your system.

  5. Core TrainingSo much of the exercise we do, such as running and cycling, focus on the lower body. Not much attention is paid to the trunk, or core, of the body. It is the muscles of the core - the abdomen, chest, glutes and back - that stabilize the rest of the body. Think of your core as a strong column that links the upper and lower body together. Having a solid core creates a foundation for all activities, and is especially important when you add a heavy load, such as weights to your workout. It is important when you are strengthening the core that you create balance between the muscles of the abdomen and the back. Many people will naturally have an imbalance between the strength of their abdominal muscles and the lower back muscles. Exercising with stability balls helps to develop and strengthen those muscles. We have developed some great core training programs that will focus on stabilizing your entire core area.

  6. Nutritional Recommendations In order to achieve any type of physical goal one must learn the proper nutrition to power the correct response. After completing a questionnaire on your current nutritional habits, we will design a nutritional plan that will be based on your basal metabolic rate, calories you need to consume in order to maintain your existing weight, subtract calories from that amount and use the extra expended calories burned during your workouts and cardiovascular routine to determine the exact amount of calories you should be taking in each day. Our nutritional plans include lean proteins, fruits, vegetables and nonsaturated fats. You will learn to eat 5 or 6 small meals each day and ingest real foods that will allow your system to expend energy by digesting these foods and stimulate your metabolism to become a more effecient burning machine. Your body will begin to tell you when you need to eat, which should be around every three hours. Your energy level will become stable and more consistent throughout the day and you will feel more energetic. Have a look at our nutrition page.

  7. Support and Motivation Precision Personal Trainers are here for you! They will keep you motivated by being ready when you come to your workout session, changing your routines when needed, talk to you about your daily activities and be there to listen to your concerns. You will look forward to your training sessions because we look forward to seeing you!

  8. Kickboxing/Conditioning The Kickboxing/Conditioning sessions are a private one-on-one session that will provide an array of activities ranging from core training, endurance training, boxing and kickboxing techniques with drills and an overall full body conditioning experience.  You will burn a lot of calories and bring your fitness level to a new place!

  9. Group Circuit Training If you’re looking to work with a personal trainer and can’t quit afford the one-on-one session rate then this small group circuit training session may be just what you need.   The group will consist of 3 or 4 people and will be centered around a full body workout incorporating all of the machines and equipment available in the studio.  You will be with a trainer at all times and given all the attention you would have working one-on-one with a personal trainer.  Please call for the group session rates.
